Dear participants of the BGF 2014,
Many of you have inquired as to whether or not another BGF was forming on the horizon for the year 2015, with words of encouragement and interest as to the continuation of this event. Your positive feedback has been one of the main factors in deciding whether or not BGF 2015 will take place. Alongside the already mentioned, the standings of our sponsors and, of course, the aspirations of the organizers themselves were the remaining factors of this decision.
We are therefore happy to announce that the BGF 2015 will take place, and your interest has allowed us to maintain it both as a sports challenge and as a challenge to raise money for charity. With approximatively 250 thousand Czech crowns raised last year, our goal this year is to raise half a million. We hope that this goal will become mutual, and that we will work together to reach it. We hope that alongside participating in this event, you will help share the very idea behind the BGF- a mixture of human solidarity and a challenging sports achievement- with others around you, and thus help us obtain the financial gift that will, once again, all proceed to charity.
A couple of novelties are being prepared for this year. We can say for sure that our charity partner will change, and we assume that the money will proceed directly to cancer-related research. Novelties in the sports domain are being prepared too, however- participants will have more options to choose from, from additions in the number of rides, to the sports activities themselves. You will be kept informed by means of our website, and through email correspondance with all past participants. For now, just mark the date of the BGF 2015- October 3rd, 2015- in your calendars as we work to keep you as informed as we can in the shortest possible time frame.
